This could include working on speech production, improving gait and mobility, increasing coping skills, increasing self-expression, increasing communication skills, etc. Individual music therapy sessions last anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on the needs of the client.

Group music therapy is offered for individuals wishing to work on social, communication, or developmental goals with peers. Sessions last 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 60 minutes depending on the needs of the clients in the group.

Music lessons are available for all abilities and levels! At Ignite Music Therapy, we have licensed music educators who are available to teach traditional music lessons and board certified music therapists who lead adapted music lessons on piano, guitar, and ukulele for anyone wanting to learn! We are also available to teach strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion. All are able to engage in music lessons, just let us know what your needs are!
